Sunday, Jan 8 - my Mom's birthday

If my Mom was alive, she would be 92 today - hard to imagine!
Today, we attended the Daytona Beach Alliance Church.  They have a beautiful building, but like most Alliance churches in this part of the world, they are really struggling.  There was a guest speaker today, who was really good , and the people were very friendly, making us feel quite welcom, but as usual on Sunday mornings, we really miss CAC.

After a yummy lunch at Red Lobster, we went walk-about, on the beach, Ocean Walk, the Pier and Fun area (rides, arcade, etc), and even the temporary ice rink.  LOTS of people out and about on this gorgeous day!
