We're off again on the boat, this time up the Trent Severn.  We had a bit of a late start this morning, and only came as far as Peterborough, lock 20.  It is very quiet and peaceful here, and has cooled off nicely for sleeping.

I love this little treehouse, which we see on the river just south of Peterborough.

There were 2 ospreys sitting in this tree looking for fish.

I thought this fellow was going to climb onto the swim platform.  A few of them came into Lock 19 with us - hoping for hand-outs I think.

Beautiful flowers everywhere.
We walked from lock 20 to downtown Peterborough - over the river beside the railway tracks, and along the riverside park.  So pretty!  This statue reminded us that winter will come again!
Paul saw this little chippy go into his hole with his cheeks stuffed full, so I waited to see if he would come back out.  He didn't disappoint!

We saw a lot of kayakers today.  So colourful!

I was the "anchor" for this tug-of-war - granite!  It just wouldn't move!
