During dinner on Saturday evening, the DaVinci sailed to Enkhuizen, and we had an after-dinner walking tour with Heleen. Unfortunately, it was a little dark, so pics not the best.
Enroute, we passed through a lock.......
......while cars passed UNDER us - hence, an aqueduct.......
.....and some swans flew past.
Enkhuizen at sunset.
Some kids were playing soccer by the Drommedaris, part of the 17th century city walls. Enkhuizen received city rights in 1355.
It makes a good hat and sweater rack!
A fair sized boat in the middle of town!
I think this is a merganser, though some people thought it was a grebe. Anyone???
I really loved seeing this - just wish it wasn't so dark!
Mom and baby out for an evening swim.
I was so happy to see the blossoms! We were twice blessed this year, as we saw spring happening in Netherlands, then came home to see spring happening here!
.......until next time.......
