What a gorgeous day for a bike ride! This time, on the mainland, along the Intracoastal, AKA the Halifax River. We only needed 3 layers today - it turned out to be quite warm, and of course sunny. Had a yummy picnic lunch at our destination, in a lovely rose garden in comfy adirondac chairs, followed by a tour of Angell and Phelps chocolate factory, with samples after. :0) Saw lots of water birds, took lots of pictures - surprise! At the very end, just as we got back to the car, I managed to fall off the bike - yep, now I know my bones are still good! Who needs bone density scans? Just a very large bump which will become a lovely bruise on my shin. :0(
