A real bike trail

We had a great bike ride today along a wide, 8 1/2 mile long, paved bike path - almost flat.  What a treat!

The path had shaded picnic tables and benches along the way.

Along the way we crossed over the Peace "River".

A mockingbird (I think) sang us a beautiful song along the way.

The path went past farms, pastures, cemeteries, orange groves, and towns.

This little fellow was quite entertaining.

All along the path, there were signs with quotes from different people.  The two I liked the best were:  "Be strong like the oak, but flexible like the birch", by a native American; and "If you have reached the end of your rope, make a knot, and hang on!" by F.D.Roosevelt.  Good advice from both!
