A Day With Dick and Marilyn - Feb. 13/14

We just spent the day with Dick and Marilyn Ebbers, who came to us from Lakeland.  After a nice visit and lunch, we went to the Gaylord Palms Resort, just over the fence from us, but with a water-filled ditch and 2 high fences between.  We had to drive there.  It's an amazing place that we like to visit every year.  There are millions (literally) of tropical plants and flowers in this huge resort, as well as multiple shops and restaurants, koi, gators and turtles, etc.
Lots of beautiful flowers!

Baby gators are behind glass.  They are called "grunts".  These were about 8 inches long.
The rest of the alligators are in an area called "Gator Springs" with a bunch of turtles as well.

The turtles were sunning themselves with and on the gators.
Marilyn with one of the lovely waterfalls.
Another pretty waterfall area.

One of the restaurants - in an area called "Key West" - is a big sailboat.  Lots of Florida fish in these waters.
Paul and Dick - two great fishermen.

Koi were in a lot of the water areas - pretty!
