Change in the weather

Today has been a strange day weather-wise.  This morning it was sunny, VERY windy, and too hot to eat breakfast on our balcony.  We went to church at the First Baptist Church Weston, and had to walk through pouring rain and strong winds to get into church.  When we came out and went to a restaurant for lunch, it was too cold to eat on their patio!  I guess a cold front came through.                 We are staying at Vacation Village at Weston for the next 2 weeks, and we are not going to get tired walking around our unit!  It's pretty small, but nice.  Scott and Lois, it's the small side of the unit like the one we had in Kissimmee.  Ours is the corner balcony , fourth floor in this picture.  Paul could hear the fountain at night - wish I could!

We overlook a nice little garden with this arbour - it's covered with a vine, which has pretty flowers on it.  Below is one of the flowers on it.

These flowers were growing out of the side of the tree which was covered with flowers in it's branches as well - also in the little garden.

I think this might be a juvenile night heron.  He was fishing in a pond by a golf course.

I went for a walk this afternoon and walked through the grounds of the Hyatt Regency Resort across from us.  They have a nature trail and these waterfalls and ponds etc.

I love orchids!  And what a beautiful setting!  You can be sure I'll be going over there more than once in the next couple of weeks.

Gorgeous area!

I don't know what kind of bird this is - he wasn't singing, but was kind enough to pose for me.
Paul has been doing the excersizes the physiotherapist gave him when his back was bad last fall, and thinks he might be a bit better.  Hopefully it will continue to get better.
