$wap Meet (flea market) and biking.

This would be moving day, except we're staying here for another week.  We went to the $wap Meet today - it's a HUGE flea market in Fort Lauderdale.  It is partly inside (which is really not a flea market in my mind - all new stuff), and partly outdoors in the parking lot of a multi-movie drive-in theatre.  There are 100's of vendors selling everything you could imagine.  Everything I bought is consumable.  My greatest bargain is 48 hearing-aid batteries for $2.  Wow!

When we got home we decided to go for a bike ride over around the park and along the canal by the service road near us.  We saw several iguanas, but this is the only one who stayed around long enough for pictures.  He is a bit smaller than the one we saw yesterday.  We also saw a smaller bright green one - like the one that used to live in our pool room when we lived in the country.  Remember him Karen?  I think you almost decided not to join our family!

This was one of the many picnics/parties happening in the park today.  We got there too late for the "mountain bike competition" that was on today.  I'm really not sure how you do mountain biking when the biggest hills are bridges, but they have trails, which we've never seen, since the gate is always locked when we go there.

On the way home (about a half mile to go), I got a flat tire.....

.....and this was the culprit!

All fixed up and ready to go again.

The weather forecast doesn't look much better for the next week than it did for the past one, but since they hardly ever get it right, I guess we'll just go for it!
