Gaylord Palms

This morning we were treated to the antics of 5 deer across the pond from our back door.  There was lots of galloping and frolicking around.

There were orchids in lots of colours.
After breakfast we biked a mile or so to a place called Gaylord Palms, a resort and conference center.  It is the most amazing place to wander through!  I took 104 pictures!  And no, I haven't added them all!  I had a hard time, though, deciding which ones to add.  So here goes.

Bananas
The place is like a huge greenhouse, with lots of tropical plants - must have a BUNCH of gardeners to keep it all so nice!

There is a lagoon in the Key West atrium, where this sting wray was swimming, also a few species of fish.    There is also a big sailboat which is a restaurant.

Paul "went fishing" in Key West and caught this big fish.

papayas

Bet you never thought you'd catch me this close to a snake!  There was glass between us!
Key West is only 90 miles from Cuba.

Cute, eh?   You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours.

So many pretty places like this!

After lunch, Dick and Marilyn Ebbers came over from Lakeland and we spent the afternoon together, driving around Celebration and Historic Downtown Kissimmee, then had dinner together.  It was great to see them again.
