A new bike path

This morning we rode a new bike path - part of the Shingle Creek Park, but on the north side of Highway 192, instead of on the south side.  We saw a LOT of hawks today - this fellow was having a lot to say!                                   The one below was actually beside the roadside path on the way back to the resort.

Since the park is directly under a flight path for the Kissimmee airport, we also saw a lot of planes overhead.

The paths were boardwalk........

........or quite rough cement and sand and gravel.

Part of the paths were by the creek.

This is me getting stung by fire ants - YIKES!  They really do sting!

We think this is where some wild pigs had been rooting - there were a lot of places like this. There were also footprints at the creek that we couldn't identify - something with paws - big paws!

We passed citrus groves where they were picking oranges into big bins, and a truck was nearby ready to be loaded.

These grapefruit were tempting me, but I didn't steal any.  It was right after this picture that I did it again, slipped in the gravel and fell over again.  :-(  Oh well, no damage this time.

We went back to the resort in time for a swim and a hotdog lunch courtesy of Club Sevilla.                  After lunch, we did another ride down the street, ate some more of that yummy fruit, and brought home a bowlful.  It's been another great day.
