Moving day

Today we moved from Hilton Head, SC (southern coastal area of SC) to Myrtle Beach, SC (northern coastal area of SC).  It took about 4 hours of driving, and we drove through everything from sunshine to POURING rain!  We're in a resort right on the beach in the middle of Myrtle Beach, in a VERY SMALL unit overlooking the ocean.- the smallest we've been in all winter.  However, it's quite nice and well equipped, and we will be comfortable.      We drove through Charleston and went over a huge bridge over the intracoastal waterway.

This is our view to the north.  As you can see, there were very few people on the beach at 4 pm.  They were warning of severe t-storms.  We had a minor one, don't know if anyone else got it worse.  It's another wide flat beach, don't know yet if it will be good for biking, but it should be for walking.

We've done a lot of biking this winter, but unless we find something new this week, we likely won't do much more.  There's good shopping here, though, and we haven't done much of that!
