VERY rainy day in south Florida

There is a beautiful tree outside our windows that is covered with flowers like this.

The flowers seem to grow out of the trunk of  the tree.

Today was a VERY rainy day.  It was not iffy or off and on, it rained most of the day.  Luckily this was the day that we had finally succumbed to the invitations to a "time-share" presentation.  They don't call it that anymore.  We were given the "opportunity" to trade in a less desirable week that we owned for a better one, and we did.  After lunch, we went one more time to the big mall for a couple of hours - mostly to shop for the beloved grand-daughters.  :-)  I got a big kick out of how they were "watering the grass" at the mall - above.

The duckies love a day like this!

As do the coots - us, not so much!  Only one more day in Weston to go biking, and it IS supposed to be nice tomorrow.  I hope.
